When are you open?

Who underwrites Falakhe funeral plans?
Every Falakhe funeral plan is underwritten by Econet Life.
How soon does my cover start?
Cover for natural death starts after a waiting period, 90 days on most plans. Each plan's page shows its own waiting periods, including for accidental death.
Who can join?
The main member must be between 18 and 70 years old when joining. Children are covered up to the age of 20.
How can I pay?
Most plans can be paid every month, and some every two weeks or every week, in US dollars or Rand. You can see your policy and pay online on this website.
What if I miss a payment?
You have a grace period, 30 days on most plans, to catch up before your cover stops. Call us if you are struggling and we will help.
Can you arrange a funeral if we have no policy?
Yes. We arrange funerals for families paying cash too. Ask for a quote on our funeral services page or call us.
